Games
Short training. No nonsense.
Word Scramble
A common word is scrambled — rearrange the letters to find the original. Solve as many as possible in the time limit. Trains lexical retrieval speed, pattern recognition in language, and mental flexibility — the cognitive underpinning of verbal fluency.
Spatial Math
A grid of numbers appears on screen with a target sum. Select the cells that add up to exactly the target — as many times as possible before the clock runs out. Trains numerical reasoning, working memory, and spatial processing simultaneously.
Sequence Memory
Watch a sequence of cells light up on a grid, then reproduce it from memory. Each successful round adds one more step to the sequence. A direct measure of visual-sequential working memory — the same capacity used when following multi-step instructions or holding a plan in mind.
Speed Typing
Type the displayed words as fast and accurately as possible before time runs out. Measures words per minute and accuracy under pressure. Trains processing speed, motor-cognitive coordination, and sustained attention — skills that transfer directly to focused knowledge work.
Focus Grid
A 5×5 grid of numbers appears briefly, then disappears. Click the numbers in ascending order from memory. The grid resets each round with new positions and a larger range. A direct test of visual working memory and attentional scanning speed.
Word Chain
Each word must start with the last letter of the previous one. Race against the clock to build the longest chain possible. Engages semantic memory, lexical retrieval speed, and cognitive switching — key components of verbal fluency.
Visual Search
Find the target symbol hidden among distractors as fast as possible. Each round increases the number of distractors and similarity to the target. Trains selective attention and perceptual speed — the foundation of distraction resistance.
Mental Math Blitz
Rapid-fire arithmetic under time pressure. Solve as many equations as possible before the clock runs out. Trains working memory, processing speed, and cognitive flexibility under stress — the same skills that degrade first under mental fatigue.
Dual N-Back
The most evidence-backed working memory training task. Track two simultaneous streams — position and sound — and identify matches from N steps back. Used in cognitive neuroscience research to measurably increase fluid intelligence.
Pattern Tap
Watch the color sequence light up, then repeat it from memory. Gets harder every round.
Sudoku
Fill the 9×9 grid so every row, column and box contains digits 1–9. Trains logic and deep focus.
Color Stroop
Name the ink color, not the word. Classic cognitive control test.
Number Flow
Solve simple math as fast as you can. Trains mental arithmetic and sustained focus.
Memory Match
Flip pairs of cards and find all matches. Trains working memory and concentration.
Reaction Dots
Click the dot fast. Trains reaction + attention.
